Tiles!

The tile guys have been busily working the last couple of days. Suddenly, my soon-to-be shower went from a waterproof tray in the ground to actually looking like a shower! I came home today to some of the tiles even on the wall. Of course, there is still a lot of work to do and the border and the bathroom floor still need to be finished, but it was great progess.

In a few short days, the space was transformed from insulated walls...

...to solid walls waiting on tile...to a tiled wall! The rest of the tiles and the grout still need to be added, but it is beginning to feel like a real bathroom now. (And, since I know dad will ask, the "hole" in the wall is where the shampoo shelf is going to be.)
And, since it is hard for more that two people to work in this small space at once, Margaret and Forrest have been checking off the punch list of items. Looks like I may be done with this grand project someday. (Ah, but there is another bathroom....hmmm....)
