My latest excuse for not posting is my vacation - a river trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. It was an incredible experience - with constant views like the one below. (It was taken on our second night on the river.)
But while Forrest, Margaret and I were busy rafting, Dave and his crew were busy at my house painting. My bedroom is now a gorgeous shade of purple. And the horrible mini-blinds are gone from this room, too, so I better get busy on window coverings. (Not to mention new bedding and carpet that actually goes with the new colors.)
The bathroom is nearly done. Forrest installed the toilet and light fixtures when we got back, as well as the towel bars and finished the plumbing. I'm now waiting on mirrors.
The mirror for the cabinet above this countertop should be here any day. (I just took another picture because I really love the marble.)
And, I'm also accepting all suggestions for the mirror above the sink. It hasn't yet been ordered because I want something "interesting." But I'm not really sure what interesting is...so all suggestions are welcome!

That marble is beautiful! Everything looks great. Wish I had a suggestion for you on the mirror, but I have no idea! Can't wait to hear more about your trip.
