Last Saturday, we met for several hours to finalize more of the details for the kitchen, including the exact dimensions for the counters and the island. The space was marked off with painters tape - and I've been trying to get used to it by pretending there really is an island and walls. I feel pretty silly (and still cut through the "wall" that will soon be the laundry closet), but I'm loving the new space!
