Happy Birthday Dina! (aka The First Dinner Party)
As many of you know, my friend Dina was one of the inspirations for the remodel project. In fact, a couple of years ago she challenged me to do it and have her birthday dinner in the new fancy kitchen. Of course, she was thinking the very next year, but sometimes these decisions take time...Anyway, it isn't quite done, but her birthday came around in October as it always does, and things were functional, so I had a few people over for dinner anyway. People seemed to not mind the dust too much. Happy Birthday Dina!

The kitchen works.
I personally had a great time. Things looked and tasted great.
If you ever want to practice making those cookies, I am offering up my tastebuds and stomach as your personal research taste tester. You know I'm a giver and I just want you to perfect the recipie so you could win a contest. :)
Thanks for throwing the party. Everything was wonderful and we were glad to be part of the kitchen kickoff.
Dinner was fabulous. I have the biggest case of kitchen envy ever. It's beautiful! Thanks for having us!
