The tar smell is waning

Work is moving along fairly quickly on the bathroom. They have finished the framing and now have much of the drywall up (although the picture below is from several days ago when the wall was just open to the bedroom.)
The big deal this week was the hot mopping of the shower pan. The guy who does this part arrived on Wednesday afternoon to cause my house to smell like a highway under construction. The smell is just now going away, since the gorgeous weekend we just had meant I could keep the windows open while I was home. The picture below shows the water filled shower pan - they make sure it doesn't leak by keeping it filled with water. Forrest and Margaret are going to be on vacation next week, so if it doesn't leak by the time they get back, I should be in pretty good shape!
They also installed (partially) the new vanity on Friday. I really like how it looks - picks up the theme from my kitchen cabinets in the details. Although I'm not sure the drawer pulls I liked will go with the style...
Now, the big decisions have to do with light fixtures, which I think I have figured out, and where to put the handheld shower. There are a couple of choices, and since I've never had one before, I don't know!
