It began to feel a little like a ballroom in my house, as they took down the plastic for the (very) hot Southern California weekend and the house was open to the new space. Right now, it is very big and empty. I can't believe how much space I'm going to have when it is done.
Fortunately for me, the squirrels I heard running on the roof didn't fall through the holes cut in the roof for the skylights - I'm not sure what I would have done if I came home to furry roommates. But, the skylights came today and they put the roof over the bay window, so my open air days may be numbered.
Tomorrow I lose the sink - soon the last remnants of pink will be gone. And not a moment too soon.
