Pink Be Gone!

The pink kitchen is officially dead - the last of the old cabinets were removed last week. Apparently, even the inspector mentioned something about the pink tiles in the kitchen ("she isn't going to keep those, is she?") The view below is where the old sink was. They are busy working on scraping up the old linoleum (which I didn't even know existed) and getting the plumbing and wiring in place to start the building, now that the demo is done. So, I am living with a microwave and toaster and doing dishes in the bathroom! A temporary sink should be available shortly, as Margaret and Forrest really try to make things as liveable as possible.

The skylights are in now, too. Just need the flashing around them.

Hopefully more exciting stuff to follow this week (although I think it is all pretty exciting!)
