The permits have been issued and they are hard at work. First step, remove all the old (very old) roofing material. It makes it much easier should Santa Claus decide on a rare mid-year visit - he doesn't have to only look for the chimney! The good news is that the feared structural damage due to termites or other such things is not evident. The look of the place changes every day!
