I can see the light at the end of the tunnel
I saw the light at the end of the tunnel on Sunday - the new cooktop, while not fully connected to the right circuit, is functional and I was able to boil water! It worked very well and I can't wait to use it with counters on the sides so I don't have to worry about spilling.
And, the new sink is beautiful. Who knew a sink could be beautiful, but it is. It isn't connected to water yet, but it is out of its hiding place in the garage!
The ovens got put in today. Forrest is waiting until it is all put together to hook up the circuit they are on, but they look great. I can't wait to get the new refrigerator in and get rid of the old almond color one.
And, first signs of the island. I've gotten used to the new traffic pattern of no door to the kitchen from the hallway, but now I have to get used to walking around the cabinet in the middle of the room. I think I can handle it, because the space is going to be so wonderful.
But why are there still so many boxes in my living room???? You'd think the place would be clearing out a little bit.
