Since my niece and nephew didn't think very highly of the plywood floors that were here when they came to visit (I think their exact quote was something like, "we knew you were going to put in wood floors, but really, couldn't you have done better than plywood?"), they will be happy to know that they finished the floors today. But, not until after the furniture stayed outside over the weekend. (Note the nice deck in the works and the lovely color of the garage!)
The inside is looking very nice, I think. I actually cooked a little this weekend and there is soooo much space. (Don't worry - the old refrigerator is just waiting for the right moment to be replaced by the new one.)
They measured for the granite today, and you see the examples of crown moulding on the island, so I just need to figure out what I'm doing there.
Such a big improvement from the old days!
