Who knew it could be so hard to pick a green?
Color continues to be a vexing problem for me. (Not only picking them for the house, but my camera is on the blink and adding special colors to many shots.) As for the house, I originally picked three colors to try out - as you can see below, none of them really worked that well. And this picture was taken in the morning when the marine layer was heavy -- they looked much worse in the bright sunlight. It was back to the drawing board and a meeting with the painter, and I have two more to try out. I know I'll find it eventually, but I think Dave the painter is worried, so he suggested painting the garage first, in case I don't like it, it wouldn't be such a big deal to repaint.

All bright and shiny, waiting for tomorrow's cabinet arrival!
In the meantime, the deck materials are being installed. I didn't get home tonight in time to get my camera working well enough to get any good pictures, but the long planks for the decks are ready to be installed.
